San Francisco's famous Anchor Steam®, the classic of American brewing tradition since 1896, is virtually handmade, with an exceptional respect for the ancient art of brewing. The deep amber colour, thick creamy head, and rich flavour. "steam" is a nickname for beer brewed on the West Coast of America under primitive conditions and without ice.
ESTRELLA DAMM 4.6% £3.50
Lager from Barcelona. Good carbonation, crisp and light- bodied a golden straw colour with a nice white creamy foam head. A sweet cereal and rice aroma with a faint grassy, hoppy background.
BROOKLYN LAGER 5.1% £4
New York's Brooklyn brewery has over 100 years of brewing history, and this Vienna-style amber lager is its biggest selling beer. Made with German Hallertauer, Vanguard and Cascade hops, and late hopped for extra bitterness, it is a fabulous beer. The colour is deep amber with a thinnish off-white head. The nose overflows with hoppy, herbal aromas, a eucalyptus note and a pillow of sweet malt. On the palate it is full and rich, masses of hops and savoury depth in the flavour.
DIXIE 4.5% £3.50
The Dixie Brewing Company is a craft brewery based in New Orleans, Louisiana pours a bright straw gold with small head and lots of rising bubbles. Serve it so cold it has no smell. Taste of sweet grain, corn and a sweetener not too far from corn syrup.
NILS OSCAR GOD LAGER 5.3% £4
Sweden. The malt, wiener is developed specifically for Nils Oscar God Lager. It is a little darker to give more flavour and richness. The best hops from Germany, where the taste and aroma comes from a well-weighted mix of Hersbrucker and Tett Sets. The result is an aromatic, hoppy, full malt beer with good character.
WELLS PACIFICO CLARA 4.5% £4
Imported Beer from Mexico. A bit like sol or corona but much better! Clean, crisp and refreshing. Easy to drink. A must have on a hot day or when you need something ‘not too heavy’.
LITTLE CREATURES PALE 5.2% £4
Australian. Cascade and Galaxy whole hop flowers are used creating an intense citrus and grapefruit aroma and flavour that is balanced with a careful selection of specialty malts and a local pale malt made to bespoke specifications. Preservative and additive free, live-yeast conditioned in bottles and kegs for freshness and character.
COOPERS SPARKLING ALE 5.8% £4.50
Australian ale with famous cloudy sediment and a full bodied flavour with a disctinctive balance of malt, hops and fruity characters. Cooper sparkling ale is a world-class brew. Little has changed since Thomas Cooper produced hist first batch of Coopers sparkling Ale in 1862. It's still brewed naturally using the centuries old top fermentation method.
ORIGINAL 4.5% £4
Like most of the Coopers beers the Pale ale is bottle fermented to give the beer that Coopers cloudy look caused by yeast residue. To get the full flavour effects stir the sediment throughout the beer by tipping the bottle on its side before opening. The light smooth beer is easy to drink with a fresh fruity flavour, smooth finish and bitter aftertaste.
SIERRA NEVADA 5.6% £4.50
California’s Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful interpretation of a classic style. It has a deep amber colour and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. Generous quantities of premium Cascade hops give the Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavour.
MEANTIME PALE ALE 4.3% £3.50
One hundred and fifty years ago the new bitter beer style, Pale Ale, was so popular that brewers had to import Californian hops to meet demand. Meantime London Pale Ale continues that tradition by combining lots of American Cascade and Centennial hops to give it a complex citrus aroma and bucketsful of local Kentish Goldings to provide the bitterness that makes the style so refreshing. Together they conspire to assail the nose with a complex, heady mix of spearmint, grass and 'hop sack' aromas, fruity citrus flavours and a bitter finish that makes pale ale drinking a truly rewarding experience.
WHEAT 5.0% £4
A Feast Of Banana & Cloves. Wheat and pale ale malts, Perle and Northern Brewer hops and authentic Bavarian wheat beer yeast. A cloudy, golden-orange beer with a moderately dense white head displaying a mixed combination of banana, fruit, bubblegum, spice and zesty aromas and flavours, all created, in true Bavarian wheat beer style, by the use of a unique yeast strain that brings out the true character of the wheat malt used in the brew.
ERDINGER DUNKEL 5.6% £5
Germany. This dark wheat beer is rich and smooth with a chocolaty taste and aroma. It owes its full-bodied flavour to the fine hops and dark malt used in its production.
WEISS 5.3% £5
A wheat beer for those who love outstanding wheat beer flavour the undisputed classic in the Erdinger product range. Brewed according to a traditional recipe and in strict accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law, the beer is still bottle-fermented in the traditional way taking three to four weeks to mature.

312 URB WHEAT 5.3% £3.50
A spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by a crisp, fruity ale flavour and a smooth, creamy body. It was named 312 Urban wheat after the area code of downtown Chicago.

Our India Pale Ale recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result is a hop lover’s dream with a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, and long hop finish.
TIMMERMANS FRAMBOISE 4% £4
Timmermans® Framboise is made by adding 100% natural raspberry flavouring to lambic and is considered to be Brussels’ summer drink. After a period of maturation in oak barrels, the beer turns a delicate shade of pink. It has a huge bouquet and makes a delicate aperitif.

Belgian, Fair Trade, gluten free, white fruit beer. Huyghe brewery. Mongozo Mango has the sweet, refreshing flavour of fresh mangos. It is a light beer with a refreshingly fruity flavour. Very easy to drink.

Oaky on the nose, Colour: Deep red
Palate: Soft fruits and malt balanced by a lively spiciness from the rum. Finish: Mellow and oaky with just a lingering hint of spice. Yum.
AFFLIGEM BLONDE 6.8% £4.50
Brewed in the Flemish village of Opwijk. This top-fermenting Belgian Blond Abbey beer is still brewed according to the original recipe. Well balanced with a sweetish, refreshing fruity flavour and a hoppy, dry finish. It’s a robust 6.8% by volume, yet still easy to drink.
LEFFE BLONDE 6.6% £5
Belgian Abbey beer. Leffe is the brand leader among Belgian abbey beers - a beer for the connoisseur. Leffe Blond is a top fermented ale which combines typical yeast characteristics with a fruity flavour. It has a beautiful yellow-gold colour, a full body and a subtle, aromatic flavour. Leffe Blonde has a clear, golden body with a thick, dense and rocky head. It's nose is fully of bananas and sweet spice. The mouthfeel is silky and the beer sweet. It tastes much as it smells - like liquid banana bread and a nice snap at the back

Easy drinking dark Abbey Ale, brewed under licence from the Leffe Monastery, by Interbrew Leuven, Province Flemish Brabant. Creamy and soft, well-balanced with fruity, bitter- sweet caramel flavours and hints of coffee and toffee. Top fermented and bottle conditioned.
TRIPLE 8.5% £5.50
Leffe Triple, a fresh golden ale with hints of lemon and vanilla. Roasted and sweet flavour. Has undergone a second fermentation in the bottle to increase the alcohol content. Fresh and fruity orange flavour. Leffe Tripel is a great substitute for robust or exotic white wine
CHIMAY ROUGE 7% £4.50
The Chimay Red Cap, or Première, is the oldest of the Chimays. This Trappist beer possesses a beautiful coppery colour that makes it particularly attractive. Topped with a creamy head, it gives off a slight fruity apricot smell from the fermentation. The aroma felt in the mouth is a balance confirming the fruit nuances revealed to the sense of smell.
BLUE 9% £5.50
The Chimay Blue Cap, baptized the Grande Reserve is a dark Trappist beer with a powerful aroma, the complex flavour which improves over time. It was first brewed as a Christmas beer, explaining the presence of a vintage. The aroma is flowery and light and the taste caramelized.
WHITE 7% £4.50
The Chimay Triple, last-born of the Abbey, is labelled Cinq Cents. Golden in colour, the Trappist beer combines sweet and bitter in a rare balance. The beer's aroma felt in the mouth comes from the hops perfumes. Fruity touches of Muscat grapes and raisins, even ripe apples.
VEDETT EXTRA WHITE 4.7% £4
Duvel Moortgat group.
Wheat, barley, hops, coriander and dried orange peel are used in the brewing. To fully develop the taste pallet, the beer is bottle conditioned for several weeks. It is bottled unfiltered, keeping all natural goodness inside.
DELIRIUM TREMENS 7.5% £5
Belgian Huyghe brewery. Pale blond, the fine and regular effervesce ensures a fine and stable head. A Slightly malty scent, nice touch of alcohol, spicy. The flavour warms the mouth and is characterized by its roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting. Dry and bitter.
RED 8.5% £4.50
Deep dark red colour, with a light pink, compact and lacing head. Soft fruity aroma, with hints of almond and mildly sour cherries. Sweet and fruity, with a nice balance between sweet and sour. An excellent dessert beer.
NOCTURNUM 8.5% £6
Dark Belgian Strong Ale. It is a triple-fermented dark ale using 3 different yeast strains and 5 different malts. Delirium Nocturnum pours a rich brown/ruby color, with a thick tan head that leaves a slight lace on the glass. It is mostly clear and has some carbonation. aromatic sweetness with apple, berry, and honey maltiness and a hint of sourness (the smell can be a little similar to a brown ale). The flavor immediately bursts with raisins, bittersweet chocolate and aniseed. Halfway through tasting, one can detect plum and raspberry with an underlying yeastiness. The finish is long, with a fruity, plummy aftertaste with some spiciness.
GUILLOTINE 8.5% £6
All of the traditions of a strong well rounded blonde. Pours a clear golden with a light white head. Flavours of malts and hops, grain, corn, honey and spice. Good carbonation, light sweet and bitterness.
WESTMALLE DUBBEL 7% £4.50
Westmalle Abbey Brewery. Westmalle Dubbel is a dark, reddish-brown Trappist beer with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. The creamy head has the fragrance of special malt and leaves an attractive lace pattern in the glass. The flavour is rich and complex, herby and fruity with a fresh-bitter finish. It is a balanced quality beer with a soft feel in the mouth and a long, dry aftertaste.
TRIPEL 9.5% £5
Westmalle Tripel is a clear, golden yellow Trappist beer that undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle. It is a complex beer with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional beer, with a great deal of finesse and elegance. And with a splendid long aftertaste.
CALVORS PREMIUM 5% £4
Located on a family farm in rural Suffolk. Calvors aim is to create natural lagers as they should be, using traditional methods, brewing in small batches with the finest locally malted barley. AMBER 4% £4
It has a lovely nutty taste with a slight bitter finish. Calvors Amber contains a blend of light and dark malts creating a distinctive depth of malt aroma and flavour.
DARK 4.5% £4
It’s a genuine lager with a beautiful dark colour. Calvors Dark is brewed using four malts to produce a beautifully smooth, roasted malt flavour.
STRAFFE HENDRIK 9% £5
De Halve Maan brewery. Brewed with a subtle mixture of 6 different kinds of malt. The taste is strong with a lot of hop (Saaz and Styrian Golding) of the best quality. The second fermentation in the bottle assures a longer shelf life. Straffe Hendrik is a very rich beer with lots of flavours. Straffe Hendrik was an authentic Bruges' Tripel beer: a strong and rich beer with lots of flavours (malt, caramel and hop). In the past, lots of Bruges' breweries produced a Tripel Style Bruges' Ale, a “Brugse Tripel”. In fact, it was a local speciality. Today, Straffe Hendrik is the last authentic Bruges' Tripel Beer.
KWAK 8% £5
Bosteels brewery. Well balanced with a fruity, malty sweetness, hints of liquorice and a warm lingering finish. It is named after an 18th century innkeeper and brewer, Pauwel Kwak.
DUVEL 8.5% £5
Fragrant and fruity aroma, with hints of apples and orange zest, plenty of body, an eau-de-vie like alcohol complexity and a pleasant lingering hoppy dry aftertaste, not forgetting it's generous creamy head.
DE KONNICK 5% £4
The show piece of De Koninck brewery in Antwerp, Province Antwerp, is the De Koninck beer, better known by the name of its glass ''Bolleke''. Amber coloured and creamy in texture, with distinct fresh and well-balanced malt, hop and fruity yeast flavours, with a slight hint of exotic spices in the aftertaste.
GOUDEN CAROLOUS CLASSIC 8.5% £4.50
Brouwerij Het Anker brewery. This Mechelen Emperor’s brew, traditional beer of the fox hunting of Charles Quint but named after his golden coins, is still being brewed with dark, very well-balanced malts according to the classical infusion method. The aromatic malts and high fermentation process combines the warm roundness of wine with the light freshness of beer. Because of its high density of 19° Plato, the Gouden Carolus Classic is classified under ‘special beers’.
MORITZ 5.4% £3.50
Very slightly buttery but a lovely blend of German and Czech character. Clean, pale gold with a thin white head. Good slightly sweet malt, really nice delicate citric hops. Lovely balance of sweet and bitter.
HERCULE STOUT 9% £5
Ellezeloise brewery. Very malty, but dry, with a hint of sweetness in the finish, and perfectly hopped. Very distinctive and intoxicating spicy aroma of fresh spruce that suddenly fills the room when the swing-top is released. This unique house character probably derives from the strains of yeast used by the brewery – and possibly from the fermentation in oak – because the beers are made entirely of malt and hops, without any spices or sugar.
BARBAR HONEY BLONDE 8% £5
Malt taste and subtle flavour of honey. It is brewed using water drawn from artesian wells on the site of the brewery, at Quenast, a small village to the south of Brussels. This area is well-known for the quality and the diversity of its beers. Barbar beer is prepared from a secret and harmonious mixture of barley malts, hops and honey carefully selected by the Master Brewer. The traditional brewing method, associated with our unique strain of yeast, and the secondary fermentation in the bottle, gives Barbar the authentic flavour of a very special ale.
AECHT SCHLENKERLA RAUCHBIER WEIZEN 5.2% £6
Schlenkerla Smokebeer Wheat is an ale with light smoky aroma. Other aromas of orange peel and yeasty banana with hints of lemon and wheat bread. As Bavarian wheat beers, it is being brewed with a mixture of both barley malt and wheat malt. The portion of barley malt is hereby a classic Schlenkerla smokemalt, while the wheat malt remains unsmoked. Served unfiltered with its natural haziness, Schlenkerla Wheat reaches its full aroma through bottle fermentation with fine top fermenting yeast.
PORTERHOUSE OYSTER STOUT 5.2% £3.50
Brewed by the Porterhouse in Dublin, Ireland with fresh oyster. A smooth drinking aromatic stout with a discernible but unidentifiable aromatic aspect. Not suitable for vegetarians. This gently flavored stout has a roast malt character, full body and an aromatic character from the Goldings hops. Fresh oysters added during the brewing process, lend a discernible yet unidentifiable note.
FLYING DOG
SNAKE DOG IPA 7.1% £5
IPA’s emphasise the heat in spicy foods and smooth out creamy, fatty foods. This beer has big citrus flavours, especially grapefruit, hop aroma and flavour with caramel malt notes.
OLD SCRATCH AMBER 5.5% £4.90
Old Scratch can emphasise sweetness, cut through spice, or be used to contrast salt. This beer is malty, almost caramel and sweet.
DOGGIE STYLE 5.5% £5
Grassy and citrus flavours, slight hop aromas with subtlety sweet malt body.
RAGING BITCH 8.5% £6
The American IPA hoppiness or Belgian funk is brought out with food. Sweet malt body contrasted with pine and grapefruit hop flavours and exotic fruit yeast notes.
